Since the early 1930's Tacoma Community House has assisted people in developing employment skills, finding jobs, and becoming independent. Our ability to link our nonnative English speaking clients directly to English as a Second Language programs allows us to effectively equip our clients with the English skills they need to succeed. Additionally, our job developers have a long history of providing employment services and maintain connections with dozens of employers throughout Pierce County.  Whether you are looking for an on-the-job training program, seeking a safe place that helps immigrants and refugees find jobs, or searching for programs that assist people in transition from welfare into the workforce, the employment programs at Tacoma Community House help people gain the skills and experiences they need to be self-sufficient.
