Mariela’s Story

It’s always a pleasure to see our clients grow and create the life that they want for themselves. Mariela has been a client of Tacoma Community House since 2020. She has participated in our Center for Strong Families program where she gets Financial and Employment coaching. This has helped her navigate through the employment system and understanding how to be in charge of her financials. She also participated in our CHEER program. Through CHEER, she was able to earn Child Care Basics Certificate and find a job working in that field.

Currently, she owns ABC & ME Early Learning Center in Puyallup. We are incredibly proud of Mariela’s accomplishments and her current business and are grateful that she wanted to share her story with us.
